- Winter Explorer’s Camp, Red Oak Nature Center, Dec 30-31
If it snows, the kids can go snowshoeing and winter hiking, There will be campfires and lots of opportunities to experience winter outdoors.
- Swimming at the Vaughn Athletic Center.
Most kids love swimming so why not give them a waterpark experience in winter and go for a dip at the Vaughn Athletic Center which will open from 11AM – 7PM on weekdays and 12NN – 5PM on weekends until January 2, 2015
- Family New Year’s Eve Party, Vaughan Athletic Center, Dec 31, 11AM – 1PM.
Send out 2014 with games, giant inflatables, arts and crafts and a balloon drop.
It’s a big year-end party that is great for families and kids to celebrate New Year’s Eve, especially those kids and parents who don’t make it to midnight. Welcome the new year with games, arts and crafts, giant inflatables, and a giant balloon drop to culminate the event.
- Grandparent/Grandchild Bingo and Pizza, Community Hall, 305 W. Jackson Ave., Naperville, Dec. 29, 11:30 AM – 1PM
Calling all kids ages 6 and up and their grandparents! Enjoy 12 games of Bingo, pizza , a drink, and prizes for everyone. Registration fee is $15 for resident of Naperville homes and $22 for non-residents. Registration closes on Dec. 28, 2014.
- NYE Countdown, base of the Carillon, Dec 31, 5PM
Get the family and enjoy the free fun happening at the base of the Carillon. Program starts at 5PM and the countdown leading up to 6PM.
